Inspired by Victor Hugo’s classic novel “Les Miserables”, legendary French actress Gloria Delaneuf has created a life-changing piece of radical theatre – a call to arms. She has dreamed a dream, and her hapless assistant Josephine has promised to build a barricade. Expect a master class in resistance – French style.

We have created two versions of LES GLORIABLES – an indoor version perfect for rural touring and small-scale theatres which runs at 1hr 10 mins, and an outdoor version which can be performed anywhere as piece of street theatre, running at 45 minutes with lots of audience interaction and suitable for all ages (supported by Without Walls and Seachange Arts).

Les Gloriables is a riotously silly physical comedy show created by French/English female duo Spitz & Co. Supported by Arts Council England, Strike a Light (Gloucester), Hawkwood College (Stroud), WithoutWalls, and Seachange Arts.
